Admin's Reply to "Azrael's Last Dance for Toycon"
Personally, I am deeply shocked and saddened at the news that my Co-Admin has informed me.
Anime Alliance has started at 2006, and Anime Alliance Philippines' first ever event to be in part with or to even cover was the 5th Philippine Toys, Hobbies and Collectibles Convention 2006. Since then, we've been in-contact with Mr. Azrael Coladilla for ToyCon's news and event schedule for the following year.
ToyCon 2006 was Anime Alliance Philippines' stepping stone in the Anime community. Without it, we wouldn't probably be here. After our coverage of ToyCon 2006, alot has followed since we saw our capability to cover events and be one of the Anime Media Groups in the Philippines.
Sir Az also introduced to us the "LIVE Webcast" last year at ToyCon 2007, which has been very successful for the fact we got at least 17 viewers (We consider that big since we were just starting)
In my personal opinion, sir Azrael's presence in ToyCon is very crucial, but if his decision is final, then I guess me and my team has no choice but to support his wishes.
To sir Az,
We hope that you won't quit organizing ToyCon, but if it cannot be helped and if your decision is truly final, In behalf of the whole Anime Alliance International Community who has seen and experienced ToyCon and the greatness of it, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. If it wasn't for you, we wouldn't be here where we are now, a media group who is capable of covering one of the most awaited, most renowned and largest Anime events in the country. You who has believed in us the first time we proposed in covering ToyCon, owe you very big for our continued success in the field of what we do and what we're supposed to do. We are very greatful that you've let us be a part of ToyCon and we shall try to continue the legacy that you'll be leaving. It's because of you that we are here today. Our prayers are with you for the success of your future endeavors Sir Az!
TOYCON 2009! Watch out for us and we'll be there again!
