Cosplay at Hataw Hanep HERO "The Amped Edition" organized by Anime Alliance Philippines
A huge leap for the organization as they organized the cosplay competition of Hataw Hanep HERO 2008 together with ForeverZero and independent individuals unexpectedly.
"...When we were asked for opinions by HERO TV, I had a strange feeling that the cosplay competition would be a mess knowing that they had little time to prepare..." Admin said during an emergency meeting with FZ and his immediate officers Wednesday evening.
An independent volunteer group consisting of more or less 10 people gathered by Ludwig Jimenez, one of the officials from HERO TV, was the initial organizers of the cosplay event. However after a meeting with HERO TV last Wednesday afternoon informing the organization officials that there wasn't any solid group piloting the cosplay competition, Anime Alliance Philippines was placed on stand by if in anycase, anything goes wrong. It was Friday early morning around 1AM that the confirmation was given by HERO TV that Anime Alliance Philippines would be in-charge for the manpower, security and operations while the independent volunteer group would be handling the registration and execution but still AAP having complete control of the cosplay competition.
"... Thank you guys for the support and the effort... a job well done!... even though we exceeded the time alloted for the cosplay competition... I'm glad everything worked out even though we just planned it 2 hours before the opening of the gates..." Admin Michael said after the event as he held a closing meeting at the operations desk at the AAP booth.
It has been great for Anime Alliance Philippines to have gone this far and hopefully we can do more for the anime fans out there. We'll try to meet all your expectations!
